Swim Team has screened in over 200 cities and communities around the world, in theaters but also churches, synagogues, schools, libraries, YMCAs and in corporate settings. Through our Host a Screening program, you can share the film with your organization and be part of our campaign to foster a more inclusive society.
Here are notes we received from screening hosts:
"I love this movie! After the event, wonderful engaging panelists facilitated an important conversation with the audience about inclusion and diversity. I highly recommend showing this film to students! (Common Sense Media suggests 11+). The evening far exceeded my expectations!"
Liza Shapiro
Chappaqua PTA Special Education Committee Chair, Chappaqua, NY
"Thank you for the opportunity to share such as important story. I hope that your film will continue to inspire others not only to compete but to make inclusion a real priority in their programming."
Don Gibb, Head Swim Coach
National Training Center, Clermont, FL
"Please thank the families for us, too. By allowing this movie to be made, each family allowed us to enter their private lives and share in their struggles and triumphs they face each day. Hopefully, one day, society will be able to help support people with ASD and their family while respecting each person's neuro-diversity."
Jane Hilton, Associate Professor, Curry School of Education
University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA
"The screening and the talk-back with Producer/ Director Lara Stolman and Coach Mike McQuay was the highlight of Park Avenue Synagogue's JDAIM (Jewish Disabilities Awareness and Inclusion Month) programming. It enabled the wider PAS community to understand the complexities as well as the joys and triumphs of raising a teen with a disability. Thank you for this marvelous film!"
